2008 NSL Week 6: 

Sunday June 1, 2008  - Libertyville, Illinois Field #15 - 4:00pm

Warta's first team is struggling in the opening games of the 2008 Outdoor Season.  On this first home game the team were demolished by Jahbat FC 0:9.  Warta playing the entire game with just eight men, six of them from the first team and two from the B Team. 

It is a shame to drop a game against a weak team such as Jahbat.  Injuries and personal reasons were the cause of absence most of the team.  

Jahbat toying with the team on a hot Sunday afternoon which was limited to chances on goal.  Baker's long distance shot caught the keeper out but the ball was cleared off the line by a defender.  Gasior missing a close range header sending the ball wide, Ozlanski's effort was spoiled by the keeper twice and a shot by Borys sailed over the bar.  These were the only chances the team had on this day, while Jahbat kept coming and coming taking a full advantage of the short handed Warta.

 There was nothing to show for as the team was shot down by a huge goal margin.

2008 NSL Week 6: 

Sunday  June 1,  2008  - Libertyville, Illinois Field #15 - 2:00pm

Warta "B" Continue their survival run with a 1:1 draw against Stare Byki Red.  Wartas' second team playing without few starting players due to their High School Graduation managed to grab a point on their first home game of the season.  Wojciech Bulanda scoring for Warta which should have had all three points with a little luck.  After a slow start in the first half, the team came alive in the second, despite allowing the first goal off an evidential off side position, they fought right back and equalized.  Hector Matute spoiled an one on one and few minutes later he was brought down in the box, but the referee saw it differently and did not award what should have been a penalty kick.  Addition to that Murray watched his shot sail off the cross bar, and a great keeping by Sulocha gave our second team a point.
