2008 NSL Week 9:

Sunday June 15, 2008:  Warta "A" vs SAC Wisla - River Rd & Lawrence 11:30am

Not a good news to Warta "A" as they keep sinking deeper in League standings after loosing the Polish Derby to Wisla 1:5.  Baker was the only Warta scorer to give them the lead.

Warta played almost the entire first half with just ten men, as Borys showed up late.  Ferguson finished a great run with his first goal of the season, and it looked as Warta was in business.  The fun was spoiled half way thru the half as Wisla was awarded a penalty kick as they equalized.  Their second goal came right at the end of the half.

In the second half Wisla struck first again expending their lead to 3:1 before sending off Warta keeper Krzysztof Marek with a red card.   Lukasz Borys took his spot in the goal just to show off a great save off a free kick at which Marek has fouled just outside the box.  Once again Warta had to play the rest of the game with one man down, as Wisla took full advantage of it scoring two more goals making it impossible for Warta to get back into this game.  Even with the chances they had, it was not enough to beat a not so well playing Wisla.

The loss keeps Warta pointless in six matches and at the very bottom of the table.

Game Roster: Marek - Teluch, Ozlanski, Jones, Lopez, Murray, Maier, Stephenson, Ferguson, Baker, Borys.
