Warta title chances take a major hit with loss.

Warta needed three points out of this match to keep their title hopes alive and it isn't happening as they drop seven points out from first with 4:5 loss to Berber Stars.

Warta came into this game against Berber Stars trailing first place by four points and ahead of their opponents by four.  They were on a winning streak and after a week off the team fell out of rhythm as they dropped both games in a meeting between these two sides putting them out of range.

It was a game that Warta looked confident in opening minutes as they took early two goal lead on Hume Hernandez and Brandon Loncar strikes.

Warta couldnt take advantage of the power play in which they failed to take one shot on target as well.

Berber Stars got their hopes and momentum back with a power play goal to cut the lead at half.

Warta had multiple chances they failed to convert and Stars equalized right before the break.

In second half, Berber Stars went ahead before Hume got his second on the night and equalized the game at 3:3.

Juan De La Cruz put the team back ahead but two crucial mistakes lead to two Berber Star goals giving them a victory over Warta in the final minute of the game.

Warta finished the game off with four men as De La Cruz was sent off for arguing a bad call on the field and the defeat puts Warta in shadows of title race and now just point ahead for second place spot.
