Warta strengthen their second spot with a gritty 4:3 win over HDS Eagles.

Warta with a totally new look held on to a narrow win over last place Eagles and strengthened their position in second place with four point lead.

Shaky defense and low energy performance, Warta still managed to hold on and earn three hard fought points against last place Eagles.

With two games remaining in the regular season, Warta have a four point lead over third place Berber Stars and five points over their rivals and next opponents Wisla.

Brandon Loncar opened the scoring before Eagles equalized to take the 1:1 score into half time.

Armando Gio Tello scored his first goal on debut and Douglas Dos Santos increased the lead on his first goal as well.

Eagles equalized on power play goal, after Warta keeper Ruben Del Villar was penalized for a foul and later equalized on another mistake.

With time running out, Brandon Loncar scored his second on the night which proved to be the game winning goal.

Eagles put a last second scare as they came really close on equalizing but well positioned Del Villar made a huge stop to deny Eagles of a point and earned his first win with Warta first team.
