MATCH RECAP: CKS Warta    - 3:2-    EDGEWATER CASTLE FC

 

Julian Pacheco late winner seal three points for Warta at home against Edgewater Castle FC.

MATCH SUMMARY

Warta opened their Challenge Cup competition with a win at home against Edgewater Castle FC with a 3:2 score.

 

In a hard fought match between these two sides Warta came out a winner in the final minutes of the game.
Edgewater took the lead in the 35th minute from a quick counter attack but just minutes later just before the break, Alex Filian got an easy tap in from Singh cross to make it 1:1 before the half time whistle.

In second half, Warta took the lead just five minutes into restart as Emedi Emena took advantage of the turnover outside the box.
The visitors equalized just a minute later and going into the final minutes of the match, Warta created a spectacular combination of passes to find Julian Pacheco who scored the winner in the 80th minute.

Shoutout goes out to Gregory Stellatos who came out big on couple of times saving a one on one and a close range shots.
Also, a huge shoutout to the rest of the team who gave their best to come out with three points against a well playing and organized team as Edgewater.
