MATCH REPORT: CKS Warta u23 -3 : 2- Steel City FC Academy
Warta U23 fought back from two goals down at the half to grab all three points with a win over Steel City FC Academy on Wednesday night at home of Collage of DuPage.
Joshua Cruz with two goals on the night and single goal from debutant Jayrell Garcia gave Warta a much deserve win as they were the better side tha night.
Well deserve win as warta was better side.
MATCH SUMMARY
Warta dominated the entire game especially in the first opening stage but lack of scoring goals continue for the team with multile chances blown again.
As we kept missing out on our opportunities, the opponent got a lucky break from a mistake giving them the lead. With time winding down before the break, Steel City went ahead two goals to none and were in cruise control at the break.
Second half, the team kept their composure and just ten minutes into the half Joshua Cruz scored to cut the lead at half. Jayrell Garcia equalized and with just minutes left in the game Joshua Cruz gave Warta their three points with a goal winning shot past the Steel City keeper.
Win did NOT gained any grounds in standings, but it gave them three points to start with.
