Warta lost their second straight match of 2020, as they fall to Albanian Stars.

Warta lost their second straight game in first two weeks of year 2020, as they dropped a tough one to defending champs, Albanian Stars.

Warta started the game without their keeper and a field player Sebastian Padua had to replace him in the first ten minutes of match during which Albanian Stars scored their first opening goal.

The score-line was 1:0 for a period of long time during which Warta missed couple of great opportunities to equalize, but it was Albanians who got their second with just under minute left in the opening half.

Second half, both teams playing with one man down and with the penalty running down to final seconds a huge mistake by Warta keeper who was not at his best on this day gave Albanians their third goal and basically the game was in control of the Albanian Stars.

Soon after that the opponents increased their lead to four goal before Oscar Carrasco pulled one back for the team with a spectacular goal.

Warta pushed up in search of another goal which could give them a little of light but Albanians finished off with their fifth on the night and could've had scored one more in the final two minutes when Warta played a man down as Juan De La Cruz was penalized with two minute penalty.

This is teams second consecutive defeat to start the 2020 Year, and dropped four points behind first place in standings.
