CKS Warta panelized twice in second half and reduced to ten man as they saw Gazelle SC thru to the League Cup Final.

Warta started strongly in first half and created couple early chances as Juan De La Cruz missed one on one with the Gazelle keeper in the 9th minute of play.  Nine minutes later De La Cruz shot over the bar as Warta had their first missed opportunities wasted.

Gazelle first chance was in the 22nd minute as their shot sailed over the bar as their only clear chance in the half.

Second half Warta started where they left off and in 53rd minute De La Cruz free kick was saved by the keeper forcing him to make spectacular save.

Game turned and fired back as Gazelle were awarded unfair penalty kick in the 57th minute of play and converted to take the lead.

Warta turned up their gear and had two clear chances in the 72nd and 73rd minute but in 74th De La Cruz equalized with a calm finish past helpless keeper after Sergio Hernandez won the ball deep in the midfield and penetrated thru Gazelle defense to send the ball to wide open Cruz.

The lead didnt last long as Gazelle were awarded their second penalty in the 77th minute to regain their lead once again.

The game became clearly out of control when Warta player Valladares was hacked inside the box and the official pointed to a goal kick making huge controversy in the 80th minute.  Frustration and tension build after that miss call as De La Cruz was sent off with straight red card for absolutely NO reasonable sense in the 81st minute.

The player refused to leave the pitch without getting any clarification of the red and the officials stopped the match from finishing before the regular time was up.

Good game became clearly a frustrating evening for Warta as they saw Gazelle go thru to the League Cup final with two unfair penalties awarded to them in the second half.
