Shorthanded Warta round off their season with a loss to Vikings AA after a resistant battle.

Warta showed up with just seven players to the game in which both coaches Jorge Salmeron and Joe Teluch had to play.

Despite playing the entire game with nine men, Warta showed a great resistance throughout the entire game and put up a good fight with two coaches on the field.

Vikings took the lead at around half hour mark and Warta had a chance to equalize from the penalty spot minutes later but shot from Juan De La Cruz went wide of the post.

Alex Cervantes equalized for Warta in the 38th minute and Warta went on to hold off till mid game break.

In second half, Warta continued to resist the constant pressure from Vikings offense, but Warta managed to defend well until the 70th minute of play when Vikings took advantage of the tired legs of the older in age back line with Jorge Salmeron and Joe Teluch to take a 2:1 lead.

For Warta it seem that it went from bad to worst when Juan De La Cruz received a yellow card for arguing and then red card for continuing the verbal abuse towards the ref but Warta did not gave up and almost found an equalizer but the shot from Alex Cervantes was blocked by the defender to prevent the ball from finding its way into back of the net.

Warta rounded off what could be the last game of the outdoor season with a loss as it sums up the same type of year they had.
